Individual appointments last 50 minutes and are charged at £150 for both Regent Street and online sessions. The initial consultation is a 50-minute, £150 clinical assessment focused on the presenting difficulty, relevant history, current circumstances and goals for therapy. It provides an opportunity to consider suitability, develop an initial formulation and agree the most appropriate next step.
Where clinically appropriate, validated diagnostic and outcome measures are used alongside clinical assessment to clarify symptom severity, inform formulation and treatment planning, and monitor progress over time.
Therapy may be structured as 6, 8, 12 or 24 sessions, or continue on an open-ended basis. The recommended format is agreed following assessment and reviewed as the work develops.
Couples psychotherapy
The initial couples assessment and all subsequent couples appointments are 60 minutes and cost £180. Sessions may take place in person or online, subject to both partners having sufficient privacy and the format being clinically appropriate.
The initial consultation clarifies what has brought the couple to therapy, each partner’s hopes and concerns, and the boundaries of the work. Couples therapy ordinarily involves both partners and does not guarantee a particular relationship outcome.
Teenagers aged 14–17
Therapy is confidential within professional, legal and safeguarding limits. Before work begins, confidentiality is explained clearly to the young person and an appropriate agreement is made about how a parent or carer will be involved.
The young person’s privacy, voice and developing autonomy remain central. Information is not routinely shared with parents or carers, but relevant information may need to be shared where there is a serious concern about safety, welfare or safeguarding. Consent, communication and practical arrangements are considered individually before therapy begins.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Before you begin.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full session fee, except in exceptional circumstances. Full terms are confirmed before the first appointment.
Is therapy confidential?+
Yes, within professional, legal and safeguarding limits. These limits and the handling of clinical information are explained before therapy begins so that you can make an informed decision.
Do you work with health insurance providers?+
I work with AXA, Aviva, Cigna, Healix and selected healthcare providers. Please confirm authorisation, session limits and any excess directly with your insurer before treatment begins.
How are therapy intensives arranged?+
An intensive may involve extended sessions or more frequent standard-length appointments around a clearly defined therapeutic focus. Suitability, pace and fees are agreed only after an initial consultation. Intensives are not a crisis service and are not appropriate for every difficulty.
