Understand the pattern
We consider history, relationships and the meanings beneath present difficulties.
Private Practice · Regent Street · Online
Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) for teenagers, adults and couples on Regent Street and online.
Twenty years across the NHS, Priory Group, university counselling services and private practice.

01 / PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
My work brings psychodynamic understanding together with evidence-based approaches, including CBT and IPT. Assessment considers the presenting difficulty, relevant history, relationships and the patterns maintaining distress in the present. A shared formulation provides direction for treatment while allowing the work to respond to what emerges.
Therapy is available in English and Greek, in person or online. It can be booked as a single consultation, for a focused period of 6, 8, 12 or 24 sessions, or as longer-term therapy. My practice is in central London, in the heart of Regent Street, Soho.

02 / THERAPY
You may arrive with a clear difficulty, a recurring pattern, or simply a sense that something in your life no longer feels sustainable. We begin by clarifying the problem, considering the experiences and relationships that shaped it, and identifying what may be maintaining it now. From there, we agree a therapeutic focus and review progress as the work develops.
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we can identify the cycles behind persistent worry, social or health anxiety, panic and phobias, then develop more flexible responses to fear and uncertainty.
CBT can help us understand what is maintaining low mood and support a gradual reconnection with activity, meaning, relationships and self-compassion.
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) can offer a structured way to process bereavement, significant change and uncertainty, reconnect with your sense of self, and clarify how you wish to move forward.
Using evidence-based CBT, we can understand the cycle between obsessions and compulsions and gradually reduce rituals, avoidance and reassurance seeking.
Therapy can help you understand relational patterns, work through the emotional impact of a breakup or separation, and navigate the pressures, identity shifts and relationship changes that can accompany parenthood.
Using CBT and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), we can examine harsh self-criticism, demanding standards and the pressure to meet others’ expectations while developing more balanced and compassionate responses.
Trauma-focused CBT, when clinically appropriate, offers a careful and paced way to work with traumatic memories, triggers and avoidance while rebuilding safety and a sense of choice.
We can explore the personal and professional pressures contributing to exhaustion, loss of balance or difficulty switching off, and develop more sustainable ways of working and living.
